The plastic blind ditch is extruded from high-pressure polyethylene, with different ribs and grooves on both sides to meet the needs of drainage, water stopping and fixing. Compared with other soft plastic boards, it has a certain rigidity, which is conducive to maintaining the drainage cavity, the material specific gravity is small, the cost is relatively reduced, and it has the characteristics of cold resistance, corrosion resistance, bacterial corrosion resistance, not easy to age when buried in the tunnel lining, and long service life.

1. The constituent fibers of the plastic blind ditch are filaments of about 2mm, which are fused at the interconnection to form a three-dimensional network. The principle is the same as the truss created by the steel structure. The surface porosity is 95-97%, which is more than 5 times that of the perforated pipe and 3-4 times that of the resin mesh pipe, and the surface water absorption rate is extremely high.

Since the plastic blind ditch is a three-dimensional structure, its void ratio is 80-95%, the space and management are the same, and it is light in weight, and the compressive strength is more than 10 times stronger than the resin of the tubular structure. Therefore, even if it is compressed due to overload, due to the three-dimensional structure, the remaining void is more than 50%, so there is no problem of water leakage, and there is no need to consider that it will be crushed by the soil pressure.
3. Under a pressure of 250 kPa, the compressive strength is high and the compression ratio is less than 10%.
4. The plastic blind ditch has anti-aging agents and is durable. It can guarantee decades of stability in places such as underwater and soil.
5. The plastic blind ditch is compressible and flexible, and can be used for construction in curved positions, such as bends, which is very light. If the backfill depth is about 10 cm, it can also be backfilled with a bulldozer.
6. Due to the above characteristics, the plastic blind ditch material can solve various problems that existed in traditional blind ditches in the past, such as uneven settlement or local blockage caused by overloading, and functional interruption caused by seamless gaps caused by crushing.
7. Because the plastic blind ditch is formed by hot melting without using adhesives, it will not collapse due to aging and peeling of the adhesive.
